I love these Thom. Right up my 'model-maker's' street!
Perhaps some tiny ones for the dollhouse! In the 1940s, for an exhibit in New York, Marcel Duchamp made miniature versions of his entire body of work (including the famous urinal!), all of which fit into a valise. I may have to do a post on this!
my favourite is the Alexander Calder toy circus with the little wire figure puppets that he performed it with. Have you seen this? It's wonderful!
I am familiar with Calder's toy circus. In fact, I think you turned me on to it! That little circus also turns up here. It's quite ingenious!
Ah yes, I remember now that I wrote to you about Calder. I love too the notion of the Duchamp valise. The world in miniature!
What sayest thou?
